Kids Cuts
Haircuts designed for boys and young men in The Woodlands. Clean fades, classic cuts, and styles that work for school, sports, and everything in between.
Getting your son's hair cut shouldn't be a battle. Our barbers work with kids of all ages, from toddlers getting their first trim to teenagers who know exactly what they want. We keep appointments moving without rushing, and we're patient with younger clients still learning to sit in the chair.
Most parents bring their boys in for fades, tapers, and buzz cuts that stay neat through two weeks of school and sports. We also do longer styles, textured crops, and anything that fits your kid's personality. If your son has a reference photo from Instagram or TikTok, we can work from that. If he's not sure what he wants, we'll suggest something that matches his hair type and face shape.
Appointments run about 30 minutes for a standard cut. Walk-ins are welcome when we have openings, but booking ahead guarantees your time slot. Weekend mornings fill up fast with families, so weekday afternoons after school tend to move faster. You can wait in the shop or step out while we work. Most kids do fine on their own once they're comfortable with their barber.
We're located at 514 Sawdust Road in The Woodlands. Parking is right out front. Call (346) 831-0158 to book, or use the online scheduler on our site. First-time clients should arrive a few minutes early to fill out a quick intake form. After that, you're in the system and check-in takes seconds.
Pricing starts at $28 for kids cuts. That includes the cut, a hot towel cleanup, and a lineup if needed. We don't upsell add-ons or push product. You pay for the haircut and that's it. Tips are appreciated but never expected.
Parents tell us they've tried other shops in the area and ended up here because their sons actually like coming in. That matters when you're trying to keep a kid looking sharp without the weekly argument. Bring your boy in once and see if we're a fit.
Kids Cuts — FAQ
What age do you start cutting?
We cut hair for boys as young as two or three, as long as they can sit still for 15-20 minutes. If your son is nervous about his first haircut, let us know when you book and we'll pair him with a barber who works well with younger kids.
Do I need to stay with my child during the cut?
That's up to you and your son. Younger kids usually want a parent nearby. Older kids and teens often prefer to sit solo. Either way works for us.
Can you match a style from a photo?
Yes. Bring a reference photo on your phone or have your son show it to the barber. We'll explain what's realistic based on his hair texture and growth pattern, then get as close as possible to the look he wants.
How often should my son get a haircut?
Most kids come in every two to three weeks to keep fades and tapers looking clean. Longer styles can go four weeks or more. It depends on how fast his hair grows and how tight he likes the cut.
